Immediate Blessings
Home > Blog > Immediate BlessingsA theme I have been seeing is the need people have to want to receive God’s Blessing – and then they will make the decision for Christ.
Recently while on a trip to Ohio I met a gentleman who stated he is awaiting the Epiphany from God before he will consider making Christ his savior.
While in Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia a nurse told me the same thing – but termed it as Enlightenment…
Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:9 — No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him….”
God has blessings in mind for all of us – you – me – even your neighbor – But we need to accept these blessings. So much of the time we are waiting for heaven to enjoy all the joys and delights of faith – we fail to see the blessings in front of us.
We must accept that Christ is God, that The Holy Spirit is God -before we will have God reveal these unseen gifts through His Spirit.
We tend to hunt for the blessings in the church, in our friends, in the world… but we often just fail to go to the real source – God.
God wants to share His blessings with you.
I had a long conversation with a nurse @ CHOP and told her about the Man who knew everything about her -
I told her about the God who has given her so much – right now – and that she needs to use these gifts to impact others… much like she does with the children.
Don’t hold back – God has wonderful things in mind for you – don’t wait until eternity – share some of that good news today —
you never know – just like this God led me to do with this Nurse – you may introduce someone else to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and be part of the wonderful experience of being used by Christ to bring another person into the Church Family.
